June 12th, Big Muddy Urban Farm, Omaha. 6pm

We are a collectively-run urban farm providing local & diverse fruits, vegetables & herbs as well as sharing skills & resources with our community.


June 10th, Prairie Pride Poultry, York. 6pm



June 17th, Common Good Farm, Raymond. 5:30pm

Common Good Farm is a certified organic & certified Biodynamic®/Demeter family farm near Raymond growing good food since 1996.


June 27th, Benson Plant Rescue, Benson. 4:30pm

July 14th, North Farm, Raymond. 6:00pm




A unique farm near Raymond, NE, North Farm houses many ag enterprises.  North Farmers each have their own farm projects, from ducks to hogs to The Darlin' Reds vegetable CSA program.  North Farmers work for and with Branched Oak Farm Dairy, helping with cattle care and cheese-making, in exchange for the land and encouragement to start their own enterprises.

July 17th, Nebraska Hop Growers & Upstream Brewing, Omaha. 5:00pm


Join the Nebraska Sustainable Agriculture Society as we take our Nebraska Young Farmer Nights to Upstream Brewing Company in the Old Market!

We'll get a tour of the brewery and hear from head brewer Dallas about their passion in sourcing local ingredients and working with area farmers to create fantastic & unqiue livations. We'll also have farmers with the Nebraska Hop Growers Association on hand to talk about how they are changing the landscape of craft beer and local farms one hopyard at a time.


July 22nd, Paradise in Progress, Fort Calhoun. 6:00pm

PIP raises primarily free-range pastured pigs using rotational grazing & permaculture design principles to maximize land use & efficiency while minimizing effort & expense. 


July 29th, Community CROPS, Lincoln. 6:00pm


Community CROPS helps people grow healthy food and live sustainably.









August 5th, West Blue Farm, Milford. 6:00pm

West Blue Farm has been direct marketing farm fresh meat since 1990. Chickens & beef are raised on the farm for our customers.


  
August 12th, 26th Street Farm, Hastings. 5:00pm

26th Street Farm is a small diversified vegetable farm in Hastings focusing on thoughtfully raised vegetables, herbs, & eggs.






August 14th, New Earth Farm & Goods, Papillion. 6:00pm

New Earth Farm & Goods grows and sells local organically grown produce, fruit, eggs, & meats. We also sell other direct trade products such as coffee, herbs, tea and other goods.




August 21st, Truck Farm Omaha/NMEP, Omaha
TFO is dedicated to educating area youth about healthy eating, sustainable agriculture and the benefits of growing one's own food.



No More Empty Pots began for the purpose of connecting individuals and groups to promote local, sustainable, businesses that improve self-sufficiency and regional food security through advocacy and action. 




August 23rd, Ficke Cattle Company, Pleasant Dale. 5:30pm

The Ficke Cattle Company of today offers the industry the best of Red Angus and Angus Hybrids, as well as offering the largest source of Aubrac semen in the United States. We are planning the Tour at 5:30 with dinner to follow 
at 6:30.
Come and see the exciting things we are doing at Ficke Cattle Company, as we continue to transition our cattle operation into a Holistic program. The transition belongs to everyone...

The Nebraska Young Farmer Nights are coordinated by:





We encourage the entire family, young and old to attend. The NYFN typically involve a farm tour/pasture walk, a potluck meal, and a time for building community and connecting. Host farms provide the awesome. Please bring foods, ideas and fun to share.
