About Paul & Jessica and Block 16

Block 16 is a locally-owned restaurant that’s hell-bent on creating fresh, fun, street-style food. We work hard to source your meals from local, humanely-raised and preservative-free ingredients as often as we can. We buy quality ingredients from companies that share a similar philosophy.
Our dishes are inspired by other cultures and traditions. Our compulsive eating habits have led us across Nebraska, Canada, the United States and abroad. Basically, we just can’t stop eating!
Block 16 is operated by a talented, friendly and dedicated team of culinary professionals. Paul Urban and Jessica Joyce Urban are the co-chefs and co-owners.  Each of our team members play a crucial role in the success, creativity, drive and happiness of this business. We’re blessed to be located in Omaha and part of the city’s culinary growth.

About Plum Creek Farms:

Plum Creek Farms is a small, family owned and operated business located just outside the small community of Burchard, Nebraska.  It began as a weekly farm fresh egg delivery, but over the twelve years since we have grown into a leading local provider of farm fresh chicken.  Our chickens are raised and processed on site at our farm, so you know exactly where your food is coming from.  We take pride in the fact that our chickens are free range and farm fresh.  Our chickens have access to the outside year round, with the exception of the coldest winter months.  During those times they are raised in large buildings where they are free to roam around.  Our chickens are not fed antibiotics, so you can be sure that you are getting the highest quality chicken possible.

Plum Creek Farms is owned by Dean and Amy Dvorak.  They operate the farm along with their son Patrick Dvorak, son-in-law Logan Barr, and their two daughters Cara Dvorak and Olivia Barr.   As a leading local provider of farm fresh chicken, we take pride in offering the best chicken around.  Our family is dedicated to serving the needs of our customers each and every day, and we look forward to serving you!

Join us on November 1, 2015 as we celebrate the Fabric of Local Foods. Enjoy a five course meal prepared by local chefs made with ingredients from local producers. Our keynote speaker, Robert Egger, will share challenges and solutions to eliminate intergenerational hunger. Egger is Founder and President of L.A. Kitchen, which recovers fresh fruits and vegetables to fuel a culinary arts job training program.
